1. The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) thankfully welcomes the imposed sanctions of the European Union against two members of so-called State Administrative Council (SAC), the illegal organization of military junta, three Union Ministers of Ministry of Immigration and Population, Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Health and Sport, the Quartermaster General and No. 2 Mining Enterprise controlled by the illegal SAC which has committed the escalation of violence, human right violations against the people of Myanmar and has threatened country’ peace and security as well as destroyed all democracy gains.
2. We sincerely hope further support from the European Union as this seventh round of EU’s sanctions is certainly effective to prevent violence and crimes increasingly committed by unlawful military junta and to give strengths to the people of Myanmar who have sacrificed to bring back democracy and to establish a new federal democratic state which secures sustainable peace and development across the country.
3. We, on behalf of the people of Myanmar, highlight again the urgent needs for the united actions by world’s states and organizations including the United Nations because the illegal military junta is systematically continuing violence and human rights violations in order to control the country unlawfully despite pressures by regional and international community.
4. We strongly believe the international community have understood very well that the illegitimate military rule must be ended the soonest to cease the current violence and to build peaceful federal democratic state determined by the people, and that the practical and effective support to pro-democracy forces can certainly secure the end of prolong civil war and political instability in the country.
5. The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), reaffirms that we are moving forward through concrete cooperation with pro-democracy alliances to create a peaceful future for our people as soon as the ongoing crisis ends. We thank the European Union and Member States for the solidarity with the people of Myanmar and continued support including the seventh-round sanctions to restore democracy, to bring justice and to build an inclusive federal democratic state for the future of Myanmar.
