Statement Condemning the Inhumane Aerial Attack by the Terrorist Military Junta on the Public Hospital in Mrauk-U District, Rakhine State

12 December 2025

1. The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) strongly condemns the inhumane, cruel, and brutal aerial attack carried out by the illegal coup military on the Public Hospital in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State, on the night of December 10, 2025. Reports indicate that this atrocious attack resulted in the deaths of over 35 civilian people, including children, women, and healthcare workers, and left many more injured. We grieve for those who lost their lives in this aerial attack and wish a speedy recovery for all those injured.

2. The timing of this massacre, committed as the world celebrates International Human Rights Day, is not accidental. This inhuman act reflects an utter disregard for human life, a denial of healthcare to civilians, a disrespect for international laws, and a heinous attempt to destroy the democratic aspirations of the people of Myanmar. We gravely note that such actions are fueled by the terrorist military’s impunity for the crimes they have committed, as well as the misguided support of some nations for the terrorist military.

3. Despite continuous condemnation from the international community regarding the military coup and the crimes committed by the terrorist military, the terrorist military has not ceased its inhuman acts. The coup military is now attempting to blatantly exercise its license to kill through a sham election. Therefore, we urgently and strongly reiterate our appeal to the international community: do not support the criminal military dictators in any way; immediately halt the shipment and sale of jet fuel, arms, and military supplies to the military junta; publicly condemn the terrorist military’s inhuman crimes; and designate the military junta as a terrorist organization.

4. The relentless efforts made by the entire revolutionary force, including our elected parliamentarians, to end the military dictatorship are solely aimed at ending the terrorist military’s impunity and inhuman brutality, and at building a lasting peace. We will continue to strive alongside the revolutionary and political forces to achieve justice for all people in Myanmar, including those who lost their lives in this inhumane aerial attack, to end the military dictatorship, and to build a genuine Federal Democratic Union.
