The terrorist fascist military junta unlawfully seized the state power with arms power from the civilian government on 1 February 2021 and blocked the parliamentary buildings in the Capital Nay Pyi Taw by military personals and vehicles. Therefore, the democratically elected members of the Pyiduangsu Hluttaw virtually convened an emergency session and authorized the Committee Representing Pyiduangsu Hluttaw to perform the functions of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and to represent the people on 5 February 2021. Today marks its second anniversary.
