The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and the National Unity Government jointly organized the Commemorative Ceremony of the 77th Martyrs Day this morning of July 19, 0930 AM via online platform.
The ceremony started with the remembrance remarks by Acting President DuWa La Shi La of the National Unity Government, Chairman U Aung Kyi Nyunt of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, U Maung Maung Aye representing the NUCC’s Group of Elected Representatives and Ko Thwin Linn Aung representing the NUCC’s Group of Spring Revolution. Additionally, Secretary (1) Zuu Padonmar from Kareni Interim Executive Committee and Reserve member of Central Work Committee Dr. Khin Saung from the National League for Democracy read their statements.
At the agenda of remembrance remarks by family members of Martyrs, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, NUG’s Prime Minister and family member of Minister for Industry and Labour, Mahn Ba Khaing gave the remark after displaying video message from Mr. Kim Aris (aka) Ko Htein Linn, family member of General Aung Sann.
At 1037 AM, the participants paid one-minute salutation to the General Aung Sann and fallen Martyrs, heroes who lost their lives during the democracy struggles and during the Spring Revolution.
In the ceremony, the documentary of Martyrs Day and short video clip sent by battalions of People Defence Forces under Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government.
Additionally, the presenter read the names of organizations which has sent the messages to the Commemorative Ceremony of the 77th Martyrs Day and recorded them.
After delivering appreciation remarks by CRPH secretary U Tun Myint, the ceremony was successfully concluded.
Cabinet members of the National Unity Government, members of CRPH, members of Parliaments, Ethnic groups, Political Parties and Civil Society Organizations attended in the ceremony.
