Directive No : 6/2021
20th February 2021
1. Since 1 February 2021, Myanmar Military junta abducted and began illegal lawsuits against the national leaders including President U Win Myint and State Counselor Daw Aung Sann Suu Kyi, elected members of parliament (Hluttaw), CDM activists, civil servants and other individuals from different social statuses.
2. Abductees arrested arbitrarily and sued as such are not granted permission to defend themselves in accordance with existing laws and the principles of international human rights but are also denied their rights to consult the allegations with the attorneys to defend.

Besides, the actions are also the violation of the principles of member states under the United Nations Charter.
