- Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw has released a statement on the ongoing peaceful protests against unlawful seizure of power (coup d\’état).
- The Committee firmly believes the non-violence Civil Disobedience Movement by citizens in response to unconstitutional power seizure is in accordance with the basic principle of the Union “The Sovereign power of the Union is derived from the citizens and is in force in the entire country” and thus an act to protect their rights.
- The Committee urges the civil servants serving under various ministries to actively partake in Civil Disobedience Movement by refusing to work under the Military regime. The Committee is in touch with various organizations to support the expenses of the professionals participating in CDM.
- The Committee demands the terrorist Council to not to use any violent measures against the citizens joining in the nationwide non-violence protests. The committee also urges the Myanmar Police Force and parties involved to protect the rights and privileges of citizens.
