Legal Affairs Committee

The Legal Affairs Committee mainly performs making bills, representing legal suggestion and reviews before law-making processes including enactment, amendment and revocation by the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.

In addition, the committee provides legal advises and procedures when the CRPH performs its functions and adopts policies.

The Committee writes briefing notes, research papers and makes reviews on the international laws with the aims to develop the relevant laws and policies for federal system in establishing federal state in the future.

Moreover, international organizations are jointly cooperated to arrange workshops, trainings and discussions related to the federal electoral systems are organized by the international experts in order to prepare legal issues including drafting constitution to be needed for transitional periods and federal democracy system in the future.
