IPU’ Governing Council at its 208^th Session decided to continue to recognize the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) as the legitimate interlocutor of the IPU

During its 208^th session on 30 November 2021, the Governing Council endorsed the Executive Committee’s recommendation to continue to recognize the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) as the legitimate interlocutor of the IPU. The IPU would continue to monitor developments in Myanmar and look for opportunities to foster political dialogue.

The session was held during the 143^rd IPU Assembly and related meetings from 26 to 30 November 2021 in Madrid, Spain.
